The Vernal City Council approved the minutes of its Feb. 18, 2026 regular meeting by voice/roll call vote. Councilmember Ed Long moved to approve the minutes; Councilmember Ted Munford seconded and the motion passed with Councilmembers Munford, Mills, Long, and Porter voting in favor.
Kim Boren introduced Taesha Brewer as a new member of the Vernal City Police Department, saying Ms. Brewer “was selected from several strong applicants and brings previous experience working with Adult Probation and Parole.” Mayor Corey Foley and councilmembers welcomed Brewer, who will serve as the department receptionist handling walk-in visitors and phone calls.
