The council discussed Ordinance 2026-01, a proposed boundary-line adjustment between Perry and Willard. Mayor Travis Mote reported that Perry requested no action be taken at the Jan. 22 meeting, and Councilmember Jacob Bodily said he saw no advantage for Willard in the proposal. Several council members supported removing a listed property owner's parcel from the adjustment at that owner's request.
Councilmember Rodney Mund moved to table Ordinance 2026-01 until the next meeting; Councilmember Jacob Bodily seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The council also requested a wider-area map showing how the adjustment relates to features such as the inland port and railroad tracks before reconsideration.
