Waynesville adopts emergency ordinance adjusting employee pay rates

Mrs. Connie Miller moved to waive the two-reading rule and Mr. Chris Colvin seconded; the waiver passed on a 7-0 roll call. Mr. Colvin then moved to adopt the ordinance as an emergency, Mr. Lyle Anthony seconded, and council approved the emergency adoption by a 7-0 roll call.
Council recorded the emergency adoption at the Nov. 18 meeting; the ordinance text and effective date are part of the meeting packet and were enacted at adoption.
