County approves FY2026 opioid restitution awards and training fund recommendation

Director Jennifer Moreland emphasized that the fund follows state‑allowed uses and that recommended awards align with the county’s abatement plan and evidence‑based practices: "this grant is more rigorous in what is allowable. Evidence based practices is one of the key hallmarks of this," she said. The board closed the record, adopted the related budget adjustment, and approved the funding recommendations. No county general fund was required for these awards.
