City staff recommended completing Kalejo Drive construction and waiting roughly six months after the street fully opens to observe true traffic patterns before doing a stop-sign study. "about 6 months after the street is fully open to give traffic an opportunity to actually die down," City staff said.
Committee members and staff indicated the project is expected to finish around October, suggesting a possible window for a traffic study in March or April next year. Staff asked the committee to close the item for now and bring it back for study once the street has been open long enough to produce reliable data.
