Vernon County approves updated mobile-license application and resource guide for mobile units

Vernon County environmental-health staff presented an updated mobile license application intended to be easier for users to understand and a new Mobile Unit Resource Guide to assist people opening establishments in the county. Lonnie Muller asked whether the application is available in other languages; staff said it is not currently translated but translation support can be provided on request.
The board voted to approve both the updated mobile license application (motion by Martha Olson, second by Frank Easterday) and the Mobile Unit Resource Guide (motion by David Eggen, second by Lonnie Muller). Both motions were recorded as unanimous. Staff said the materials are aimed at reducing barriers for operators of mobile or new food establishments.
