Developer Kim McCaslin said the extra 27 units make the project financially feasible and allow higher-quality amenities. "We will do a pickleball court... a putting green... an outdoor movie lawn... a dog park... smart home technology... and EV charging stations," McCaslin said. Council debated traffic and enforceability; members required the list of enhancements and the landscaping screening be put into the motion as binding conditions. The motion passed by voice vote; the council recorded the approval and staff will follow up during site plan review.
