Highway Foreman Mike Hastings reported to the Selectboard that grading on main roads is complete and recent rains have required substantial ditch work. Hastings told the Board that the long‑awaited new highway truck is due to arrive on June 1 and that speed bumps will be installed near Halls Lake later in the week.
"The speed bumps will be installed near Halls Lake later in the week and that grading is completed on main roads. Recent rain has required much ditch work. The long-awaited new highway truck is due to arrive on June 1," Mike Hastings reported. The Board heard a resident's appreciation for the planned speed bumps and briefly discussed routine maintenance priorities for summer.
