Residents warn board that transportation staffing cuts risk coverage and compliance

She told trustees, “the lead driver position has been cut…When June 30 comes around and Diana is no longer here, along with the reduction hours for the other people, there's gonna be a lack of licensing in the supervisory MOT position.”
Board members and staff responded that management of the transportation department is primarily an operational responsibility but that they would follow up with the commenter. Chair noted the board does not take action on items not on the agenda but that staff would meet with the commenter to provide more detail about plans to maintain transportation operations and compliance.
Board action: no policy action taken during the meeting; staff said follow‑up meetings are scheduled.
