Oconto County outlines summer caregiver supports and skill-building classes

Katie Daul (Human Development & Relationships) presented a calendar of summer programs aimed at older adults and caregivers, including Tech to Thrive (May–June, Town of Lakewood), Savoring — Finding Joy in Everyday Moments (June 1 at the ADRC Wolf River Region), and a virtual Comet Class on June 30. Daul also announced StrongBodies at the Oconto County Youth Fair (Aug. 27) and a free six-week Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshop beginning July 16 (virtual). Daul emphasized volunteer-led delivery for some programs (StrongBodies) and noted volunteers may select site locations. She provided registration contacts (phone and email) for staff who planned to coordinate sign-ups and local outreach; Ann Ammerman asked staff to continue emailing program flyers to support residents who rely on mailed or in-person resources.
