Trustees vote 5-1 to open OSLAD grant account with $300,000 initial deposit after dissent

Trustee John Patrick Barry requested further discussion and suggested returning the money to the state, saying he felt "the OSLAD project would be detrimental to Cornerstone and would only be used by a limited age group" and questioned where matching funds would come from. Clerk Ries told the board the OSLAD award had already been accepted and that local organizations including Cornerstone supported the project; the motion then passed 5-1 (Barry opposed).
