Clerk Ries read the results of the April 1, 2025 consolidated election. The minutes list Village President Sheila Yepsen as the winner with 133 votes; Village Trustee winners in various contests included John Patrick Barry (144), David L DeVoss (126), Karen M Taylor (128) and Patricia Corwin (207) in the two-year race.
President Yepsen took the chair, administered and received Oaths of Office for the newly elected trustees, and then nominated Jennifer Adams to fill the two-year unexpired trustee vacancy created when Yepsen moved from trustee to president. Trustee Barry questioned the legality of making the nomination at the current meeting; the board approved the nomination (DeVoss second) with four ayes, no nays and one abstention/refusal to vote (Barry). Clerk Ries administered the Oath of Office to appointed Trustee Adams.
