The board engaged leadership, including NSS Principal Giovanna Testani, with questions about student growth; board members expressed a need for scores to demonstrate growth over time because many grade-level results appeared relatively flat with some outliers.
Board members requested future reporting that better demonstrates longitudinal growth metrics so the district can track whether interventions or programs are producing measurable improvement.
