County proposes seven-county community assessment using AI to produce interactive dashboards

"We are starting our new iteration of the Compass Now, which is done with the United Way... we are looking at partnering with a vendor on artificial intelligence to help compile our data," the director said. She told the board the regional project would produce an interactive web dashboard and that regional AI costs could range from about $50,000 up to $200,000; she also said she had raised the request for state infrastructure funds to help cover the work.
