The Shorewood Village Board approved a sewer easement and temporary construction license agreement with ComEd to allow installation of the Auburn Chase sanitary sewer main under the ComEd easement.
Planning staff summarized the agreement as "the license agreement between the village and ComEd where we can have Lennar take the sanitary sewer main under the ComEd easement. It gives them that access and it gives us an agreement where we can go in and maintain it in the future," and noted the village engineer, public works director and village attorney had reviewed the document. Trustee Salford moved to approve the agreement and Trustee Brockman seconded; the measure passed on a unanimous roll call.
The easement and license will permit construction access and future maintenance by the village; staff said the construction easement and maintenance terms had been reviewed by village consultants.
