The Town of Campbell Board voted March 23 to transfer $150,000 from the town’s fund balance into a money market account and to set aside $75,000 from fund balance as a restricted fund for Water District 1 emergency use.
The motion was made by Councilperson Michael Austin and seconded by Councilperson Kyle Peterson; the roll-call vote was 4–0 in favor (Supervisor Norman Maynard, Councilpersons Michael Austin, Kyle Peterson and Glenn Vogel voting aye; Les Smith absent). The transfer was adopted as part of the board’s capital plan actions for the March 23 special meeting.
