The BMZA voted to approve conditional uses at 806 North Collington to allow both office use and a small retail pharmacy serving Baltimore Safe Haven’s operations.
Attorney Drew Tilden described the nonprofit’s work and its plan for the site: "They were founded in 2018. They've served over 5,000 people by facilitating housing placement, health services, and community support," he said, noting the first floor will be used for administrative operations and a small pharmacy that will not sell controlled substances. Planning staff found a nonresidential use history and recommended approval; the board adopted the planning findings with conditions that operations remain within the defined uses.
