Board names bargaining representatives; member urges vigilance after student suicide

The member called on parents, teachers and counselors to be alert and to follow proper procedures when concerns are raised: "Be willing to, as adults, be that person for a kid if they feel like they needed a young adult," the board member said.
Board members noted this will be one member's final round of bargaining and thanked outgoing representatives for their service. No bargaining proposals or contract terms were discussed at the meeting.
