The Skokie School District 68 Early Childhood Center received the Illinois State Board of EducationGold Circle of Quality recognition as part of the Accelerate Illinois quality recognition and improvement system.
At the start of the meeting the superintendent announced: "the Illinois State Board of Education has awarded the Gold Circle of quality to the district's preschool for all preschool for all expansion program as part of the Accelerate Illinois quality recognition and improvement system." The superintendent thanked the early childhood team and highlighted John Sigler, identified in the meeting as the coordinator of student services and early learning, for his leadership.
Board members and staff congratulated the team and invited those present to pose for a recognition photo. Administrators said the award reflects high marks in instructional quality, family engagement, staff credentials and program administration under the state's assessment framework.
