Riviera Beach auditors deliver clean opinion for fiscal year ending 09/30/2025

Roderick Harvey of HCT, the city's external auditor, presented audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2025, and reported a clean audit opinion with no findings or material weaknesses. "We have issued a clean audit opinion, for the year ended 09/30/2025," Harvey said, and noted there was no requirement for a federal single audit because federal expenditures were under the threshold.
Harvey summarized two-year comparisons of revenues and expenses and said capital-asset increases were largely due to building improvements and right-of-use leased assets. Council voted to accept the audit report; staff noted required communications will be filed with state agencies and that the auditors had no disagreements with management to report.
