Jail Administrator David Weber told the Comanche County Facilities Authority on May 11 that the detention population stood at 186 as of May 8, 2026. "As of May 8, 2026 the detention center had a count of 186 inmates. This is comprised of 136 males and 50 females," Weber reported during his weekly update.
Weber added that four inmates were ready to go to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and that four inmates were transferred to DOC during the week. He also provided combined totals across the county system: 207 inmates at CCDC and 124 at other counties for a combined total of 331 inmates. The report was delivered as an informational update; no action or vote was taken on the population figures.
