Members recommended pairing historic preservation perspective with functional expertise (electrical, plumbing, code compliance) and suggested asking the building inspector to review identified safety items. They also discussed the committee’s role in drafting a holistic presentation for 2027 funding requests and agreed the subcommittee’s work will span the coming year.
