Regional planning commission to complete town road counts for ten-year CIP planning

A committee member said the counters are being moved in sections and that the commission "is going around all summer, taking all road counts," adding the compiled results will be presented to DPW and the board. The outcome will feed into projected maintenance schedules and estimated costs for a 10-year roads plan and provide transparency to taxpayers on priorities and spending.
Board members noted the counts will inform impact-fee and subdivision decisions and asked staff to coordinate presentation timing once the analysis is complete.
