The Village of Shorewood Board of Trustees approved a multi-item consent agenda at its Oct. 14 meeting that included $591,874.19 in accounts payable and a series of contract payments and final invoices related to ongoing capital work. Moderator announced the items and Trustee Luciano moved approval, seconded by Trustee Babiak; the motion carried on a roll call vote.
The consent package covered a $174,000 payment to the government insurance network for reserve funding, a final payment of $10,550 to Pyrotechnic Fireworks for Crossroads Fest, $196,274.98 to Schwartz Construction Group for River's Edge Park Phase B, $14,106.82 to Austin Tower Construction for the 2025 MFT resurfacing project, and $606,853.76 to Connolly Excavating and Construction for the 2025 Park Short water main replacement project. "Consent agenda is approved," the Moderator said following the roll call. The approvals keep a set of capital projects and routine operational bills on schedule and funded.
