The Shorewood Village Board approved its consent agenda, which included routine meeting minutes and multiple payments and contract approvals. The listed payments included $305,603.31 in accounts payable and project payments: $51,661.60 to Porter Corporation for two park shelters (River's Edge Park Phase B); $491,102.68 to Steve Spies Construction for the Maple Oak water-main replacement; $942,031.11 to Austin Tyler for the 2025 MFT resurfacing project; $352,020.60 to Pertino Construction for the water-main transmission project; and $720,125.54 to deconstruction for the Earl and Geneva water-main replacement and reconstruction project, among other items.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Trustee Amos and seconded by Trustee Babiak; the board approved the motion on a roll-call vote. The consent action also included payment to Schwartz Construction Group ($38,300.73) and to Emmy Simpson ($21,970) for a valve assessment and exercising program.
The approvals authorize staff to proceed with invoiced payments and contract work described on the agenda; financing sources and timing were not discussed at length during the meeting.
