The resolution cites Section 6.06 of the Texas Property Tax Code and directs the superintendent or the board secretary to transmit a certified copy to the appraisal district within 30 days of the district's adoption process.
Board members said the appraisal district agreed to consider amendments and the resolution expresses the board's intent to withhold approval until changes addressing employer contributions and budgeting concerns are made. President Overfelt announced the vote as "Unanimous." The resolution takes effect immediately upon passage and directs transmittal in accordance with the cited statute.
