Line Loop/Booster Pump building expected early next year; final completion depends on skid pump

Lynn Wall of Wall Engineering told the Wales Town Council on Dec. 2 that the Line Loop/Booster Pump project’s building "is expected to be completed at the first of the year. Final completion is contingent on arrival of the skid pump." Wall presented the status update during the council’s Business & Petitions agenda item.
Council members discussed local impacts while the project remains incomplete. Councilman Brandon Rees noted the town has been limiting building permits until the booster pump is finished and asked what emergency provisions would be needed to ensure water service during construction. The council did not take a vote on permits at the meeting and asked staff to continue monitoring timelines and contingency plans.
