A roads update to the Selectboard reported that chloride will cost $1.28 per gallon this year, compared with $1.20 per gallon last year. The report noted that all trucks are back in service but one truck has a rear-brake issue on one side and was sent to Hayes for repair; that truck has about 16,000 miles on it. Meanwhile, the road crew has been working with the grader on maintenance tasks.
The minutes attribute the update to "Moe." The board did not record further action on purchase decisions or a replacement schedule for the vehicle in the minutes; the entry is filed as an operational update to the board.
