Council approves purchases and consulting agreements for sanitation and grant support
Summary

Staff requested authorization to buy additional 427-gallon sanitation carts to finish the bin-replacement program; staff estimated needing another 60–75 carts. The council approved the purchase.
Council also approved a general services agreement with Merriam Carroll Consulting not to exceed $5,000 to provide on-call grant-writing assistance; staff noted consultant Miriam Kiro's prior work with HEDA. Separately, the council approved a budget amendment to cover an additional $2,317.50 in grant-writing hours for the Jefferson School redevelopment DEED grant application.
All three items were approved by motion without recorded opposition and will be processed by the appropriate departments.
