Board updates: RFPs extended for culvert projects; rail‑trail concept design begins

Supervisor Mark Witmer gave a multi‑point report on ongoing planning and capital projects. He said RFPs for the Braley Hill and South Road culvert projects have been advertised and the due date was extended to March 24 at 2:00 p.m.; a project meeting with Bero Architecture is scheduled for March 20 at 9:30 a.m. Witmer also reported concept design planning for the Coddington Valley Rail Trail from Burns to Banks Roads and that Friends of Coddington Valley Rail Trail continue clearing vegetation on the railbed for a walking path.
Witmer said the town is working with Municipal Solutions on Bond Anticipation Note (BAN) renewal planning and has begun space planning for Caroline POP materials. He also noted submission of a two‑year MS4 compliance report to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation with assistance from TCSWCD staff.
