Project Morning Star was approved to receive $6,000 to replace two stove/oven combinations, two washer/dryer sets and two refrigerators at its two residential sites. R.A.Y.S. Unlimited was approved to receive $6,000 for facility upgrades including upgraded air conditioners, stoves, a refrigerator and a dishwasher.
Both organizations agreed to prorated repayment of funds if they cease operations within 24 months of receiving them. The minutes record each grant passed by a 4–1 vote; Commissioner Justin Ahlers is recorded as voting against both measures.
