Nobles County approves parade permits for Brewster, Dundee and Ellsworth events

The Brewster Fun Days parade is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Dundee Nothing Days is scheduled Saturday, July 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and Ellsworth’s Family Fun Days is scheduled Saturday, June 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Board policy requires county-board approval for closures of county highways for parades or special events; the minutes show motions and seconds for each permit (Brewster moved by Commissioner Justin Ahlers; Dundee moved by Commissioner Ahlers and seconded by Commissioner Demuth for one item; Ellsworth moved by Commissioner Gene Metz and seconded by Commissioner Demuth). The permits approve road closures contingent on any standard conditions the county imposes for safety and traffic control.
