Water project near close; GPS mapping issue and invoicing review reported

The bookkeeper reported that all invoices for the water project have been paid as of the June vouchers, that the project is $11,452.19 under budget after 12 years, and that the remaining funds will be applied to the 2027 long-term bond payment for Water District 4. In discussing billing for past work, the bookkeeper said review of Hunt Engineering's invoices found that "there were many pieces of the project that HUNT did not bill us," and that some work previously done had not been invoiced. The bookkeeper also relayed that Tim Steed offered Web Solar-related work free of charge to Campbell while also doing work for Erwin; the board clarified it does not plan to hire an engineering firm for that solar work.
No new authorizations related to the water project were taken at the meeting; the statements were presented as status and accounting updates.
