"Based on our current estimates, we're estimating that at close to, a little over $4,000,000 is what that project is gonna," an assistant superintendent said in the budget presentation. Trustees pressed staff about past electrical-system assessments and whether the $1.5M estimate for potential electrical upgrades had been flagged earlier; staff said a three-year-old evaluation had noted HVAC concerns and that more analysis is needed. The budget passed with one board member recorded as opposing the final plan.
