Mark Roberts updated trustees on the greenhouse project led by his gardening class, saying the goal is to expand student opportunities and ultimately generate enough sales to sustain the greenhouse without using the district general fund. The minutes record: "As of today, we have received $13,000 in donations." The update included thanks to John and Mike for pouring the concrete.
On the consent agenda trustees accepted a $3,500 donation from the Whole Food Market Foundation toward the greenhouse project. The consent agenda also included routine items such as a facility rental agreement, an interdistrict transfer for a TK student and approval of a truancy flow chart.
