The Town of Catlin Board voted on Jan. 8 to appoint Coleen Austin as custodian of the Town Hall at a rate of $16.00 per hour. The appointment was made by motion of Supervisor LaVerne Phelps, seconded by Ron Moshier, and carried with AYES from Mike Koval, Ron Moshier, Bill Collier and Craig Christiansen.
The appointment followed the board's receipt of a letter of interest from Austin, recorded in the meeting's correspondence. The board also scheduled the 2025 audits for the Town Clerk, Tax Collector and Beaver Valley Water District for Jan. 15, 2026 at 9 a.m.; the Town Court audit will be scheduled at a later date.
