Peek also noted the branch served as an early‑voting polling site and that the library’s pilot "library of things" circulation shows rising use. Trustees asked logistical questions about certification renewal cadence and anticipated foot traffic from announced nearby apartment construction; Peek said recertification training intervals vary by program and that she expects growing use as new housing is built.
