The board considered several action items on May 8: rejecting bids for a skybridge portion of the Virginia Avenue garage project, disposing of obsolete equipment, and approving two expense vouchers.
Andy explained that the Fever practice facility refined interior plans and "decided they didn't want the penetration or of the sky bridal attached from the Virginia Avenue garage," and that the skybridge is being removed from the project. Because bids had already been published, he asked the board to reject all bids for that portion; the board moved, seconded and carried the motion.
The board also approved disposal of obsolete equipment after brief discussion about an older video board. Finally, members approved two vouchers taken together: an operating voucher of "$2,957,837.90" and a comparing voucher of "$6,466,117.55." The Chair called the roll for each action and the motions carried.
