"Our main convention center occupancy is 50.6%," she said, noting the figure is in the high 40s to 50s historically and represents a three‑year high for attendance even if not a record. She listed events including the IMS Victory Celebration and a national convention for wound, ostomy and continence nurses that brought about 5,200 specialized attendees.
Staff said the center is entering a busy period with summer events and that 2026 has been strong so far; no board action was taken beyond the report and a brief question period.
