Board approves several updated policies on disabilities, employment and attendance (2nd reading)

During new business the board approved a package of updated policies and administrative regulations on a second reading. Items passed include BP 3541.2 (Transportation for Students with Disabilities), BP/AR 4030 (Nondiscrimination in Employment), multiple civil and legal-rights policies (BP 4119.1, 4219.1, 4319.1), AR 4217.5 (Termination Agreements), BP 5131 (Student Conduct), BP/AR 6164.4 (Identification of Individuals for Special Education), and BP/AR 5113.1 (Truancy and Chronic Absenteeism).
The board recorded the motion to approve the 2nd reading and carried the package on a 3–0 vote. The minutes show the policies and administrative regulations are now updated and available through the board portal.
