Maple trustees recognize volleyball’s 11–0 season and football team

The Maple School District Board of Trustees opened its Dec. 11 meeting by recognizing fall athletics, praising the volleyball and football teams for their seasons and community engagement. Superintendent Bryan Easter introduced Coach Watts and the teams and thanked coaches and families for their support.
Coach Watts reported that "the volleyball team finished the season with an 11–0 record" and highlighted individual player roles and sportsmanship, remarks the board said reflected positively on student conduct. Football captain David Espinoza introduced the football team and spoke about the players’ efforts and appreciation for community support. Trustees extended congratulations to both teams.
