The McKinney Urban Transit District swore in a new board member at the start of its meeting. Jasmine Tucker, the board manager and transit administrator, introduced Shai Roost from the city of Princeton as the new director of development services who will fill a vacant seat, and the presiding officer administered the oath of office.
"I, Shairus, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the duties as a member of the McKinney Urban Transit District of the city of McKinney, state of Texas," the oath began, with Roost repeating the pledge. Board staff welcomed Roost and said they look forward to her participation in future meetings.
