Organizers of the Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts Center Conjunto Festival told the CDC on Aug. 3 that planning is about 60% complete, with bands booked and advertising in place. The CDC voted to approve a $5,000 service agreement to support the 2026 festival.
"CDC will provide $5,000," an organizer confirmed after the board’s motion. Blanca Davis, who oversees the festival magazine, said the publication has 52 advertisers to date and 15 advertisers from Los Fresnos. Organizers said promotional placements are running in regional outlets and that merchandising (festival T-shirts) will be sold only at the event.
