Board approves consent agenda items, operations and personnel recommendations
Summary
The Glen Cove board approved grouped consent items, operations items and multiple personnel recommendations on the superintendent’s recommendation; the board also acknowledged a donation from the Connolly PTA.
On the superintendent’s recommendation the board approved grouped agenda blocks (items 22–27; 28–39; 40–48; 50–55; 56–62) by motion and voice votes.
Trustees approved operations items listed as agenda item 8b (numbers 1–13) and recognized a donation from the Connolly PTA to help offset transportation costs for a Connolly 5th-grade trip. The board also approved multiple personnel items across certified, classified and other personnel categories under agenda item 9 as amended.
There were no public comments during public participation. After approving consent and personnel items the board moved on to committee reports and final comments before adjourning into executive session.
