Megan Levine was elected president of the Glen Cove City School District Board of Education during the board’s July 1, 2026 reorganization meeting and was sworn into office.
Board members opened the nominations and, after receiving a single nomination for Levine, moved to an election. Trustees then administered the oath of office. Ann Markulis was nominated and elected vice president and likewise took the oath.
The board chair (presiding officer) congratulated both newly sworn officers after the vote. The reorganization meeting proceeded into the remainder of organizational business under the newly seated leadership.
