Board approves $269,000 BFNS task order for Blue Line construction oversight

The Indigo board on June 18 authorized the president and CEO to execute a task order with Butler, Fairman & Seifert (BFNS) for construction management services for work inside the Blue Line construction limits for $269,000. Matt Duffy, director of capital projects, said the task order is covered within a $6,000,000 contribution the board approved in February toward the City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works West Washington Street improvement project.
"It is recommended that the board of directors authorize the president and CEO to execute a task order with Butler, Fairman, and Seifert or BFNS for construction management services for $269,000," Duffy said. He told the board BFNS was already performing inspection work on overlapping city construction and that the task order would not increase the previously committed $6 million funding amount.
Board members had no substantive questions and voted by roll call to approve the task order; the motion carried.
