Kinkade said the master plan is due for a full update and described a range of remediation work and new equipment needs.
Kinkade also told the board the city anticipates closing Erwin Park on Aug. 10 for renovation work and expects a roughly one‑year construction process. During the public hearing the board voted to close the hearing and approve the Parks & Recreation package at the meeting; motions and votes were cast to approve the item.
