After the board vote, Allen addressed the trustees and audience, reflecting on his career and thanking his family and mentors. “It’s been a great place to work,” he said, adding that he was grateful for the support the village and its residents provided over his tenure. The resolution directs the village clerk to deliver a signed copy to Allen and to spread the resolution in full in the village records.
The board’s action was procedural; no additional personnel actions were taken during the meeting. The resolution was adopted by roll call vote.
