City Attorney Amy Hugie advised simplifying garnishment language to reflect federal and state limits rather than fixed calculations. Council member Jacob Bodily moved to approve the resolution with the requested changes and the motion passed unanimously. The revised manual takes effect per the resolution and staff will update departmental policy references to align with the new manual.
