The Village of South Roxana Board passed several ordinance changes at its Jan. 7 meeting. Committee member Terrah Bevolo moved and Greg Adams seconded Ordinance No. 25-01, which amends the village procurement policy (Ordinance No. 15-16) to update emergency exemptions and procurement procedures; the board approved it by a 5-0 roll-call vote.
The board also passed Ordinance No. 25-02 (amending Section 30.15 regarding travel, meal and lodging expenses) and Ordinance No. 25-03 (repealing vehicle registration requirements). Both passed by recorded 5-0 votes. The board agreed to table Ordinance No. 25-04, which would repeal animal licensing requirements and limits on domesticated animals and cats, until the next board meeting; no final vote on that ordinance was recorded.
